Yes, I’m for this too. Everyone should buy a bass boat. I shopped for one last year. No plans to buy one in the near future but it was fun to dream and design. Good luck

As others have said a glass with be more stable, however, if you do choose aluminum I would look into something other than a tracker (poor quality/design), the newer xpress xSeries would be my choice of aluminum. Either will work just fine, I have a 17' tracker I fish derbys from but its not ideal on rough days, the ultrex is my only saving grace.

Bass boats are not popular at all up here in the Rockies.
Around here, you will find Lund, Ranger (not the bass boat models) and Crestliner as the three most popular fishing boats.
They handle bigger, rough water really well and are very nice to fish out of.
That is what I would be looking for if I was buying one right now.
