This place is not doing the job whatsoever. I need to abandon ship here and get him to another childrens hospital that will help. They want to tell me this is in my kids head. It’s not. I am going thru a divorce. That is a fact. Does it affect my son yes. My son has been 100 percent about mom how he feels etc. my son has a high tolerance for pain. He got Covid has ringing in ears, dizziness, will pass out, his stomach is in pain pain. He’s been to Denton regional where they said oh this is constipation, he’s been to just for kids for Covid and they ultimately sent us to childrens where he was admitted. He was here and they flushed him out w 4 gallons of go lightly. So he got cleaned out. His pain still persisted. They send us home. Home for a day and he begins vomiting and can’t hold anything down. I mean anything. His stomach will rumble, his stomach will cringe and cramp violently. He becomes out of it because of the pain. They ran a ct scan and didn’t see anything, yesterday did an mri. No results. We ve been here 5 days now. No answers and no drs or physical examinations. I’m at the point where I’ve given them time I’ve given them everything I can and they aren’t doing a thing. So I have to leave and go else where. The nurses are doing a good job the hospital and drs are not.
Sorry you're going through this. Prayers up.

My daughter has been going through the same crap with doctors for 4-5 years. She has chest pains where she can't breath in deep without extreme pain near her heart. Every doctor has a different excuse but none ever really take any time to try to figure it out. PreChordial Catch syndrome is what they first said and that it would go away "soon" Then is was stress maybe.... Frustrating when you never go to a doctor but when you do it feels like they brush you off by lumping you in with the heard that goes in for the sniffles.

I personally had dealings with Texas Children's in Houston when I was a kid, and have used them for one of my kids recently. What they do, and what our hospitals here in Beaumont are not even the same thing. You are getting the best of the best there 100%. I've got no experience with Cooks, but it seems like a similar environment.

texas children's in houston,, they straight up saved my daughters life when no one else could even figure out the problem,,, went to a specialist in houston he took a look at her and said her problem was out of his league, he made a call to TC and they hard a gurney orderly and a doctor in the parking garage waiting for her when we got there...

          the short version is :

she was bleeding out all over from a allergic reaction to ibuprofen she turned purple all over as her blood vessels ruptured under the skin and they had it figured out in a couple hours

they also handled my very ill grand daughter on several occasion and figured out what her problems were, she was premature and very sick for a couple of years with different issues ,,, she is 5 now and doing very well and does not even fear going to the doctor!

I am no doctor, those symptoms sounds like a gastroenterologist needs to scope him for
Small bowls inflamed or constricted blood flow

                Symptoms of ulcerative colitis:
                Abdominal pain.
                Bloody diarrhea.
                Fatigue.
                Weight loss.
                Loss of appetite.
                Rectal bleeding.
Loss of body fluids and nutrients.

This is where we went when my son was diagnosed with celiacs disease. They were very good also.

My vote would be Texas Children's, There is a reason people from around the world come to the Houston medial center for treatment. Its probably the best thing about Houston. If you make it to Houston and need anything Hit me up. Prayers continued.

I'm going to second, third, or fourth this one. When in doubt go to the best. Can't be too safe with your children. I would get there as soon as I could safely travel. Hopefully the weather gives you a break.
