I miss the breakfast meals the most. Link sausage from some critter some member shot, wrapped in a warm tortilla with mustard and/or tiger sauce.

We will usually make a big batch of breakfast burritos to take with us. Lunch usually is lunch meat sammichs & a bag of chips.

Supper time will usually be grilled steaks or burgers , baked taters & beans with a nice house salad.

If it’s just me I usually will cook up some deer meat. Usually sausage. And some evenings when I’m tired I just get the Mountain House packaged meals and have a whisky and 7up. Mornings is always eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. Now if people are coming we do all sorts of stuff. Steaks on the fire, fish frys, or whatever everybody wants. I typically hunt alone though.

There is no go to! We like variety as much as we like to hunt. Ribeyes/strips, tablitas, fajitas, chicken wings, chicken quarters, bacon wrapped/stuffed jap poppers, brisket, pulled pork, sauasgae etc etc!

                            Real easy and really good.
Cut sausage in about 1/2” slices
Cut up a bunch of onion and bell peppers.
Brown the sausage, and then set aside.
                            Sauté the onions/peppers in butter
When onions and bell peppers are close, put the sausage in to warm.
Serve over white or wild rice

For meat it’s a lot of ribs, brisket, leg quarters, steaks and burgers. We cook and vacuum pack it into meal size bags ahead and freeze ahead of time to avoid having to cook to much at the lease. Lots of beans and Mac and cheese to.
