SSS, or just beat em until amnesia set in then haul em down the road a bit.

I guess us Texarkana folks all think the same[emoji57]

Sorry to hear that man but the outlands have outlaws. Get a Ring camera those things a godsend. Worth every penny, I too have a place in East TX and it is pure outlaw country. I see your a football fan so I will just say defense wins championships.

Dallas isn't any better. When I lived there, I lost over $18000 in guns and archery gear to some jack-wad. My wile had he Girl Scout cookies taken!
So I purchased a safe, moved to East TX. NO ISSUES in 11 years. No ring phone here, just Mr. Ruger.

Deductible is too high to even worry about claiming on insurance. I'm sure my stuff is long gone by now. Our place is by Davis/Sulphur area. Meth is awful around there. My wife grew up in Sulphur....she knows 3/4 of the town but there are so many druggies it's head spinning. Law enforcement has been absolutely no help. I will get cameras and a .9mm
I'll stop shooting when my clip is empty. Our road is one way in and one way out. I'm okay hunting people now that I can't hunt deer. Knee jerk reaction. I hope it never comes to that honestly but Ive worked way to hard to accumulate all of the things that were stolen. As a teacher, I don't make enough to just run out and buy it all back. It'll take time but i'll get it and be MUCH smarter about our land and less trusting.

"Defense Wins Championships". hahaha....i like that.

Also realized the dirty rotten *******s stole my really nice ice fishing coveralls. I won them through the World Fishing Network. I wear them when I visit my buddy in Saskatchewan and we go ice fishing. They are the ones that if you fall in, you float. I loved those things. Like wearing a personal furnace and not super bulky.

Been up since 2am scouring FB marketplace and about to check out Craigslist. Not holding my breath.

Hay coach I have a complete set of Callaway Titanium Hawk eye irons with golf pride grips no drivers and no bag but they are yours if you want them? Let me know. I am sure there are other TBH brothers and sisters that might have some drivers and a bag. Come on lets help make this mans Christmas get a little better.

I was on a place in SE Oklahoma for several years and we had folks walk through our camp on several occasions (on cams). I can tell you that if we had anything up there of value it would have been stolen and we probably wouldn't have even bothered calling the cops. Twice I had someone shoot a deer in a field off the road while I was in the stand (doe and a small buck). Both times they drove off once the seen me getting out of the stand. First time I called the GW he said he'd come by the next day to get my statement and he never showed. Second time he actually came by but didn't act like there was much he could do but would keep his eye out for the description of the truck I gave him. Road hunting and trespassing was a HUGE problem up there. Another thing that happened quite often was people putting horses on our pastures or just dumping them off all together.

So we THINK we know who did it. Sheriff knows now too. Unfortunately it's my wife's cousin who lives in a shed (meth dealer). I'm a very trusting person....to a fault. Grew up in a town of 900 in NE Iowa. Kids drove tractors to school. No one locks their door.

People do kind things for people all the time. Never in a million years did I think something like this would happen. I will be more prepared next time. Been a crappy week. I appreciate all of the thoughts though.

Glad you figured out who robbed you but sorry about it being a relative. I think most of us have some undesirables as relatives. Those are the people you have to watch the closest because they know what you have and your routine etc. I grew up in a very similar community as you... driving tractors to school, sometimes even horses. No matter what their reason is, once a person steals from you, never trust them again. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!

What about we barter a Oklahoma weekend hunt next season for my younger brother, Brother Bill on this site. He lives in Bedford kind of close to you. I will pay for everything food gas and beer plus we are willing to help with chores. Fencing, carpentry and plumbing Just need a place for him to maybe shoot something. If your place isn't big enough to hunt then we can work out a real cheep price. Have a great day and thank you for teaching coaching and looking after our youth.
