I guess i'm lucky i've never had anything stolen before....this is a first....

You are lucky I had my first bicycle stolen when I was 7 years old or so.

I've had 2 treestands stolen, 1 blind stolen, a Yamaha 250 stolen, a tool box stolen out of my Blazer, 12 transmissions stolen off my property, multiple AC units stolen off of my spec houses, lumber stolen, and on and on.

I've caught a few thieves over the years so I've had some fun too.

Thanks everyone....I had an account on here for quite a while but couldn't remember my password. Emailed an admin but never could get in...so I started over.

It's my fault for not having cameras out. My wife said over 100 times i'll bet....but there is always something to do and I thought.....ehh....I'll do that tomorrow. Sucks.

They came in through a window and we told the detective this....there should be fingerprints on that window...his response...."we don't usually dust for fingerprints".
Well alrighty then. If that's the effort that is put in...my stuff is long gone.
They probably needed it more than me I guess.

My brother had the same happen in his place in Southern Oklahoma near Ardmore. He had cameras up and some pics. They found some of his stuff and some 4-wheelers near OKC that the thieves were trying to sell. Problem is the DA won't release his stuff cause "its needed for evidence". That's like being stolen from twice. Locals say the DA always keeps recovered stuff then sells it at auction for the general budget. Good luck and put some cameras out. Brother also has wifi turned on and invites the local game warden and sheriff to pull up any time to connect to his wifi. That probably works as more of a deterrent.

yes, agreed 10/10.....stuff is getting where the law is about to be taken back by the law-abiding....f the courts and the DAs....we are really really REALLY close to that, much closer than people may think....

Sorry you got your stuff stolen. But just being real honest with you, that’s just the way southern Oklahoma is. I lived north of Marietta for four years. Fences and you owning possessions means nothing there.
