You can find Demo Leica Geovids with built
In range finder for sub 1500 at CameralandNy. Great glass and great value. Slightly “colder” tint than swaro glass, but I loved mine. Only switched to SLCs because I just had to know if I was leaving anything on the table.

Depends on what kind of hunts and your hunting style. Picking deer out of the pinewoods, judging bucks in the hill country, western hunts, etc.

On the budget side, Vanguard Endeavor EDs are about as good as it gets for my eyes before spending 1k. Some of have good luck with Vortex, but again, for my eyes, the Vanguards smoke anything in the vortex line.

You can find meoptas around 7-800 bucks. Vanguards 2-300. I just sold some swaro slc’s for 1225.

Don’t pass over the vortex vipers. Great glass at reasonable price.

I gave my wife my Swarovski SLC 10x42 and bought myself a pair of Leica Geovid 10x42 HD-B 3000. Either one are great glass.
I think either brand are fine optics.

I bought a pair of Leupold Wind River Cascades and used them for years before I upgraded to Swarovski SLCs. They were good but once I bought the swaros, they got moved to the back burner. The difference was apparent.

I look at it this way, if my wife can have a $3k Louis Vuitton purse, I can have the Swarovski El binoculars.

Get whatever you like, life is wayyyy too short...
Time in the field is a tiny fraction but it's your fraction...
You use your Binoculars way more than the Scope..
                  But few skimp there.

I’m so far out of touch I still use a pair of Sears and Roebuck binoculars from 1975

Another recommendation for Leica Geovid-R with built-in rangefinder. Really helps when looking down long senderos in South Texas. 10x42 have been plenty strong enough for me
