Day 2 ‐ I decided to make a 1.5 mile walk in this morning to a dry tank in a field that I scouted the first day. When I got there, there was 2 guys already set up, so I found a road that entered the opposite side of the tank a out 300 yards away. I dont like being this close, but I needed a little rest before going in another mile

Just finish making the move in. Really good looking area. As soon as I sat down, I heard 3 shots back from where I and the other 2 guys where at. Hopefully they got a big one

Almost 3 miles in is a bad place to have a blowout. Luckily I had my roll of super fix all electrical tape

I found this waterhole in the middle of a mesquite flat. Tracks all the way around it. I ran off some hogs walking into it. Fresh buck scrapes all over. This is the first sigh of whitetail. I don't know how to hunt it though. Its too thick to try to cover the tank. Im set up about 50ft from waters edge. I wonder if I should pick a good trail coming in and work that
