Back and high? Maybe a touch, but that's a good shot. I've shot a bunch of KS bucks in that vicinity and haven't had to track very far. Stomach?

Looks like a liver/diaphragm/lung hit to me.

I would give him some extra time to bleed out, especially if the arrow smells like guts or the blood is dark.

Ya never know...... It looks good, but so did this one.. I shot this deer last weekend, and he went 635yds before dying.... Found 20 hr later with a stand up blood trail for about 400 yds.. Amazing animals..

He is dead. My son hit his target buck a little back and knew it right away. Buck went about 125 yards with a blood trail the entire way. Rage Trypan did its job. You will find him.

The still shot looks good but I'm seeing liver shot on the video. Give him 6 hours to sit.

Wow. 635 yards with that type of blood is crazy. He had a helluva will to live.

Front leg is back covering up a good portion of the goodies, leaving little room for error without going through the leg. He was calm feeding, wait til that front leg is stretched forward opening up the entire engine compartment. But I think you have a dead deer, hit several there and found less than 100yrds.

Arrow was covered in blood, no smell of guts.

Did you push him or did he go 635 yards on his own?

edit: Heck, I'm amazed he could go 635 even pushed.
