Which saltwater fish tastes best?

I can't say that I have ever eaten trout but love redfish, flounder and snapper. We are going bayfishing in November and wonder what to target.

How does trout compare to redfish, flounder or whatever else we might catch in November?

Flounder is my favorite, but going in November you can only keep a few. Catch your few flounder then go after the trout. Trout is much better than redfish IMO. In order my top to bottom.

I haven't had a lot of saltwater fish. My favorites are Red Snapper and Flounder though. Good luck on your trip Randy.

Flounder are best, but during your dates I think you can only keep two. Black drum are really excellent as well. Reds are great on the half shell and trout are best for frying or grilling/baking. Heck, they’re all good!

Will you want to fish with bait or lures only? Will impact how many species you catch if you only fish lures. My unsolicited suggestion, go bait and fill the freezer.

In all seriousness. Sheep head and mangrove are top when it comes to bays and November. Flounder are also good on the table. Drum, reds, trout are all decent as well.
