Phillip Simon watch repair in San Antonio, he’s over off loop 410 Broadway area by the magic Time Machine. He has been servicing high end watches since the 60’s

I used Reiners in Houston. Don't wear it any more. Maybe I should sell it and buy a few nice guns.

Thanks for sharing! I used to be a Rolex fan myself and really struggled with the special servicing they required. But then I stumbled upon a quality replica patek philippe watch, and I've been super satisfied. No more spending time and money on servicing expensive watches that don't always justify their cost. It's all about finding that perfect balance between style and convenience, right?

I wear a family heirloom 1959 model stainless datejust and might have it serviced once every-other decade. I don't know where y'all are getting these low prices because the Dallas Rolex place or authorized dealer the last 20 years has charged me $800.00 - 1200.00.

I found a Rolex service center in San Antonio that said they would have to send it off to California to be services. Evidently due to the date of manufacture? Anyway, he said it would be $1500 and it would take about 4 months. Geez!

You should check out local independent watchmakers or authorized service centers. They can often offer quality service at a more budget-friendly cost. And if you're ever thinking about exploring your options, New Bond Street Pawnbrokers at https://www.newbondstreetpawnbrokers...rolex-watches/ might have some interesting alternatives for you to consider. Good luck with your Rolex! ⌚

First off, have you considered checking out independent watchmakers in your area? They often have lower overhead costs compared to authorized service centers, which can mean more reasonable prices for customers like you. Just make sure to do your homework and find someone who knows their stuff when it comes to Rolex watches. Another option is to look for authorized service centers that offer more affordable service packages. Some brands have started introducing budget-friendly options specifically for older or out-of-warranty watches. So, you might be able to save some cash by going that route. If you haven't already, I highly recommend joining some online watch communities. These folks are watch enthusiasts just like you, and they can be a wealth of knowledge. You can ask for recommendations on reliable and reasonably priced service centers or watchmakers, and you might even stumble upon some hidden gems in your area. Btw, what do you think about a patek philippe copy watch's price? Just curious to know your thoughts, folks.

Saving this thread for later, wife has a diamond face & bezel Rolex that sits in a safe because it’s both difficult and expensive to service

If you’re looking for more affordable Rolex Submariner servicing options, you might want to consider finding a reputable independent watchmaker who specializes in luxury timepieces. Many of these specialists offer high-quality service at a fraction of the cost of going through Rolex directly. They can handle cleaning, seal changes, and adjustments, usually for much less than the $900+ price tag you’re seeing.

Also, I recently came across a cool site that offers high-quality replicas of luxury watches, including the Rolex Submariner. Replicas can be a great and cost-effective alternative if you're looking for a similar style without the hefty price tag. While originals are certainly valued for their craftsmanship and brand prestige, replicas can offer a similar aesthetic at a fraction of the cost. For those who are hesitant to spend too much on servicing, a well-made replica might be a practical option. Check out https://replica24.to/ to explore more.

Texas has several authorized Roel service centers or dealers. I would call all of them and ask about the services needed and the cost first then look at non authorized Rolex watchmakers.

Find the nearest Rolex affiliate or service center in United States for the maintenance and care of your Rolex watch on rolex.com.

and that is why I got rid of mine. I replaced it with a Garmin epix I can use hunting (GPS/topo) or on the golf course.

I just don't understand why anyone would pay that much when you can get the same service for 1/3 the cost??

                                It's not rocket science.
