    Brutus vs. The Opossum

Brutus has been after this sucker for awhile now and he was finally able to put an arse whooping on him tonight. I was letting him out for his last bathroom break of the night. When i opened the back door to let him out he shot out like a rocket! Within a second he had that sucker by his neck and instantly started to throw his head side to side as fast and as hard as he could. The whole time he was growling and dragging it out to the yard. After a few stops of the thrashing, it was over due to no longer breathing of the sucker. Brutus the little warrior wanted more but it was over. So long sucker!!

Knowing that you would have nothing but the manliest of dogs, I have to assume that Brutus weighs around 80+ pounds............which means that is one MONSTER possum!!

My neighbor has a jack russel terrier that tries to eat my lab daily. George just takes a big ol' paw and holds him down. It's comical watching that little dog.

I bet you money that possum isn't dead. My pit and lab/pit mix got a hold of one and did the same thing. I got them to leave it alone after it was "dead" and went and picked it up. It had several puncture wounds and was limp and "not breathing". We stuck it in a tree and left it, put the dogs inside, and when we went out the next morning, the possum was a goner and no sigh of it anywhere. "Dead" as his defense worked like a charm.

                          Cool story and pix.

Not trying to steal the thread but do jack russel terrier's make good inside dogs?
