I rather love rural La. But then again like much of nature I think migration is the key. Late summer I belong in Wy., Mt, Id. or the Canadian Rockies to escape summer heat of the deep south. Back to La for fall and the La. rut. Awesome. About Thanksgiving time to head to the brush country along the Rio Grande for the incredible winters down there...and the rut! Late winter the Bahamas or Caribbean makes a lot of sense.Then back to La. for the amazing spring early summer getting planting season going and jump starting the new crop of buck for the following season. **** good year!
