I have used CeraSport rehydration mix for years. Originally made for countries with hydration and clean water problems, they have a contract with the military and numerous LEO agencies. They also are the favorite among Tri-athletes for rehydration and World Champion competitive 3D archers!
Rice based, no sugar or sugar alcohols, it is safe for diabetics. (Stevia is a natural sweetener).
They also now make a version for animals that are heat stressed, called CeraVet.
Cera products creates industry-leading hydration powders and beverages. Our Cerasport and Ceralyte rehydration solutions are made with our patented rice-based formula. Cera products are proven by science, used by individuals with digestion issues such as IBS or Celiac, enjoyed by athletes, and trusted by our military.
This type, EX1, is made for high heat conditions. It helped me win the ASA Shooter of The Year at West Monroe LA when it was 115 heat index every day.
Does anyone know what one of the products is the best bang for your buck? The prices on some of this stuff is outrageous. I'm sure most of these products are basically the same thing.
Mostly water. However, I really like the Wilderness Athlete Hydrate & Recover. I've tried several products mentioned above but the Wilderness Athlete have been my favorite.

Dr Bergs electrolite powder is another one I use daily. It’s about 33 bucks and I can make at least 100 drinks with it. My favorite way to use it is a big cup of ice with a topo Chico or similar; same as I use the Nuun tablets
Dr. Berg's Original Electrolyte Powder, High Energy, Replenish & Rejuvenate Your Cells, 45 Servings, NO Maltodextrin or Sugar, No Ingredients from China, Amazing Orange Flavor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SFKYKVX..._bRqdFbVFE9RRW
I used do triathlons before kids, the hardest workouts were in the Summer, 4-5 hours with a decent heart rate. I forgot what we used, but we mixed it with water. However, it tasted like chalk, so not worth looking up. What you need is sodium, you are losing salt when you sweat. If you are in a dry area or dry off, you will feel or see the salt build up on your shirt or face. What ever you choose the higher the sodium the better. One race I had tomato juice in my bottle for a 13k run, something like 400+ units of sodium. Pickle juice has some sodium, but not much.
