Am I missing something? It says choice right on the package.

The USDA shield logo with Prime printed inside on the vacuum seal packaging is what the grader at the packing plant graded that side of beef at. It appears Kroger labeled and sold it as choice.

A lot of the meat I used to get in and sell actually said "USDA Choice or Higher" and was packaged with a label like this. Never had time to actually look and see if was one or the other.
