Didn’t care for “1984” and absolutely HATED any and all without David Lee Roth on vocals. They lost it for me when they added keyboards!
I don’t know. 84 was my introduction to VH. I was 10 and first impressions last. 80s mainstream, glam rock was mostly garbage, but VH had really talent. Far above par for the decade.

This.. I hated "1984", and Van Hagar was an abomination.

I saw where you did. I’m just asking if he’s been singing it wrong all these years.

One of the best albums from one of the best bands of all time!

The only down side is it reminds me of roofing in the Texas heat!

I remember this album came out my freshman year of high school. We had a cool bus driver who would let us jam this cassette back and forth from school. It was a good 30 minute trip.

EVH was a beast on this album and influenced a ton of players with his leads and solos but his rhythm guitar on Fair Warning is freaking awesome.

On my 7th Bday my parents gave me a little boom box and my uncle gave me Van Halen 1984! 1984 is my go to VH album but I do appreciate the albums before that!

Love me some VH. Was I the only one drawing the VH logo on everything at school in the 70's?
