Im pretty sure the regular M-18 is not brushless.

I have the M-18 circular and love it. Using it right now on a shop shelf project.

Now I do have the Fuel Hacksaw and it’s a beast. What are you not liking about the fuel hacksaw?

Lol I got one of the impact drill sets and the impact caught on fire..

Sears 19 volt here and not one problem since I bought them back in early 2000. Replaced batteries once.

Recently got a dewalt 20v XR brushless set. Been very impressed with the circular saw. I've built a lot of small projects and never had to swap a battery mid project. It performs just as well as my corded saw with 1/3rd the noise.

I agree with ARTOS, the 18V Dewalt batteries are trash. Get an adapter and use the 20V batteries on your 18V tools. Only way to go.

My Milwaukee has taken some abuse and still trucking. From cutting metal roofing to fire wood.

I bought all new Dewalt Brushless XR tools on black Friday 5 months ago. I watched lots of the guys reviews and feel they are more unbiased than anyone. Lots of good information on this video and on their YouTube page.
I have a few Rigid tools as well due to warranty and battery replacement. Fortunately i have not had to use the warranty yet and the tools still run strong.

I also have Milwaukee impacts, 3/8" and 3/4" and honestly love them. I have put the 3/8" through the ringer and my 3/4" is less than a year old but i use it a fair bit working on equipment and vehicles and love it.

Depends on which tools...they still have mfg here in the states but produce a bunch in Reynosa & are about to open their largest plant in the world down in Monterrey. They got the jump & pulling out of China for the most part when the trade war chatter started. In all Stanley / Black & Decker are making parts all around the globe.

My understanding is Milwaukee moved all it's US operations to other countries.

So I did some digging and come to find out HILTI manufactures their cordless tools in FFFing China. So I will be no longer recommending or purchasing their cordless tools going forward.
