Long time Dewalt fan who recently switched over to Milwaukee at Christmas. You can’t go wrong with either but the M-18 or Fuel brushless series Milwaukee’s are what I would go with now.
I was going to go with the Fuel but found a nice Fuel drill/driver package that included a “free” M-18 tool of choice and I got the circular. Extremely happy with it so far.

I know my opinion is not going to be very popular by I Loving my Ryobi tools, I would have never bought theme but my wife got me a combo for Christmas one year and I've just kept adding to them. Homedepot runs good deals on batteries all the time. I use mine way more than the average guy but not to the level of a contractor and I've never had a problem. I have 12 different tools and 8 batteries.

I have both a Milwaukee and Dewalt. They're about the same as far as saws go. A Milwaukee drill is far above a Dewalt drill though.
What I dislike about Milwaukee is when they went LI, they didn't give an adapter option for older tools so you had to buy all new tools. You can get one but not a milwaukee.Last edited by Kossetx; 04-19-2020, 06:53 AM.

If it is occasional home use, any of the major brands are fine, find one on sale. If you are going to be working it everyday, you can listen to the people that use them everyday experiences. But it seems from other threads even in that group you will get many different answers. I think at the end of the day it does not matter, cordless tools are awesome
