Few to no back yard boils? I bet there's more demand than usual.

Good to know! I will start sneaking over to your house every weekend then!

Are you buying live or boiled?

One of the few things I miss about my wife's folks living in Louisiana, is running to town for a bag of fresh boiled bugs and taters.

I know of 2 farmers who quit selling crawfish and started draining their ponds. I was told the supply is there, but the demand (restaurants) is down 60% from last year this same time. Sucks when you're catching 250 sacks per day and can't move them.

Yep, but they’re not the cheapest place to get them. I paid $4.25lb (at the Del Rio HEB) in late February. Early season but still...

My next door neighbor is a farmer and retailer. Sales are way down for him. The Crawfish App is the way to go for sure. There is a place in Port Arthur that is $1/lb for field run and $2/lb for large.
