List it for you think fair market value is. Then if you get a taker good for you if not lower your price till it sells. You will always get a better tee price then on a trade.
Good luck to you sir.
I sold a 2004 ram 1500 5.7 one owner with 105k for $6k. It was hard to sell it since it was such a good truck, but I upgraded to 2500 6.7 and it was just sitting. Was a great truck, but that was market value. Truck sold in 6 hours after putting a sign on it. I think one owner trucks help with timing of sale vs value of sale, seem to be more desirable than buying used with no history.
The issue here is that the OP thinks his truck is worth MORE than 7k.
The rest of you are just low-balling him with offensive (but realistic IMO) values.
There's NO way to know what "realistic" IS without the OP listing it and presenting it properly. That is what I keep TRYING to get across to some in his thread.....
Here are multiple examples of 04 - 08/11th generations that SOLD on EBay recently. ("Completed auctions" search) If the price is in GREEN the vehicle sold. As you can plainly see the sales prices are WELL above what most of you have quoted to the OP.
There's simply no way to know what his truck is TRULY worth without knowing the many variables of OP's truck.....condition and maintenance history, etc etc etc.
I can tell him this WITHOUT reservation, it's worth $7k IF it's truly in excellent condition with verifiable maintenance history.
Btw, judging by what some "specialty" 11th generations sold for I was VERY wise to turn down $12k.....
Goes back to when odometers only went to 100,000 miles....for example the odometer might read 78,000, but, could be 178k, 278k, etc....or just that, 78k.... 78k would be "original" miles.
However, I've seen it used to mean the "original" owner/1 owner, etc etc..... Which isn't correct

It sold so quickly because it was priced to low for it's CONDITION, at least to the person who saw it. It's actually a tribute to the way you maintained it. Every time I've bought/sold quick that was the reason.
NADA/Kelly are just a place to START when trying to figure out what something is "worth." People are foolish to think their "word" is divine. (myself included back in the day)
When it comes to used vehicles, ESPECIALLY 4wd trucks below the Mason-Dixon, you CANNOT trust their values. There are simply WAY too many variables when "valuing" a used 4wd truck....lifted.... tires....rims.....stereo.....condition of the paint....interior....drivetrain....maintenance history.... model XL, XLT, King Ranch, etc etc etc. even the mileage. You can't just go from a Kelly spread sheet....
Just because two trucks have the same specs.... Model year.... model version.....mileage....etc etc etc doesn't mean they're the same.... FAR from it...
5.4 or 4.6? If it’s the 3valve 5.4 motor it’s worth a couple thousand less.
I’m in the market for an F-150 but I’ll never own a 3 valve 5.4 again.
I had a 2005 lariat 4x4 loaded...scratches and dings here and there new tires when I traded it in. Dave smith motors gave me 8500 from about 10 pictures I sent them. Boy I bet they were disappointed when they got their hands on it. Got about 12mpg and 2 window motors didn’t work. Granted I paid cash for my new truck maybe that’s why they gave me a good deal and trade value.
I had a post on here last week where we discussed this phenomenon but I messed up and used the banned "R" word in the title so while it was a popular thread it got axed....anyway your truck is worth a lot less than you think. A trade in offer of 6-7 means the thing is worth between 3 - 4 in reality. If you could get a private sale for 5 you should break your neck getting it done. The only other option is just to keep your truck.
I was wanting a new f250 gas this year, being 63 felt like it would be my last. I have a 2008 f250 v-10 with only 75,000 miles, after pricing the new ones and what they were going to give me for mine I just decided to keep mine. Went and put all new body bushings and new shocks, rides like a new one and its mine, and only spent $670 instead of $70,000.00
God Bless
Bish
You only spent $670 on body bushings?! You do the work yourself? The bushings alone are close to $600 if you replace with factory. I ask because I am about to replace mine.

I picked one example-- a Best Offer was accepted, meaning the truck you show did NOT sell for $12.9k.
It was sold by a dealer.
