Burgers from that old general store in New Baden, TX are something to call home about.

OR! This motel/cafe in Kit Carson, Colorado...the old lady is the GM, Housekeeper, “Executive Chef”, Dishwasher and Valet. No BS. Even better after a visit to the local apothecary.

Lots of great places mentioned. Mary's in Strawn makes a huge burger that's pretty good. Loco Coyote outside of Glen Rose is good. Alamo Springs is awesome. Twin Mountain steakhouse out of San Angelo is good too.
