This used to be me but got tired of hunting where I live (first world problems) lol. Now I am going to drive 2 hours each way but I love our new lease!

About 5.5 hours, but probably closer to 7 since my father in law will be driving.

DADGUM, some of you boys are putting in some miles to get 3 hunts in. But I understand, sometimes ya got to do what ya got to do to get in the woods. I just wont do it anymore. Got to be able to hunt at least 2.5 days to make it worth the trip and we get plenty of trips in. Yall be careful on the road. I know 84 westbound is like driving at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday before the opener.

My lease is 485 miles from my house and I have driven that multiple times for 2 sits. 3 is a luxury.

If that's all I could do, I would drive my 5 hours for it....but we try to leave Thursday afternoon at the latest and hunt 5 sets...

Of course this weekend we are staying Sat through Tuesday AM and I'm only hunting mornings. Not gonna sit is 95 deg temps in my boxes. So technically I am only hunting 3 sits this weekend ...Sat, Sun and Mon am.

leave house ~3:50am, park ~5:20am, hike to tree ~5:55am, hang stand ~6:15am, watch squirrels till 11:30am~12pm, pack up stand, hike out, drive, arrive home 2~230pm.
