Did you have closing cost help? In my market you have to pay the down payment and all your closing cost. The market is that strong smh.

We offered full price on the home and to pay all closing costs but got outbid. We are looking to move back to that area but land and home prices are stupid high! We have ask about homes that have been on the market for less than a week and already have contracts on them. Also I am not paying $60,000 or a lot or in any HOA. Found a beautiful house for a good price but a 22 page HOA that I would have to get permission to fart in my own house!!!!!!!!

I will move IF I can find a reasonable piece of land that that they do not want Ft Knox for or a home without ridiculous rules or neighbors.
Being picky but we can be at this point on our lives!

Home I’m buying has a HOA but I’m willing to deal with it because it’s a great neighborhood. I know in 4-5 years I’ll will have good equity. It actually had a by line about 3/4 ton trucks and up until I guess they realized they’re normal. Myself and all my new neighbors drive them. Good luck

That is just the estimate from the lender correct? They will have to balance with the title company before you know true amount? If you bring the money for the estimate and it was more than was needed the title company will cut you a check for the difference.

I bought a house for little under 190k and my closing costs were close to that.

I just purchased a place and paid cash and there wasn't a survey but I only paid $1,800.

That all seems high to me, almost double each line item from what we’re paying. We close in a couple hours on our new place. I’ll try to post a screen shot when I get back. Our appraisal was $500, credit check was $35, survey would have been $300

You need a new mortgage company

Yes that’s an estimate. But I was expecting about half that in closing costs, the home owner currently has this property financed through this mortgage lender, I don’t know if that should cut down on some of the costs but I was thinking that it would

U need to run. Fees are all negotiable too. This is why I hate real estate and mortgage brokers etc. They're trying to hit a home run on you. Look else where.

I would refuse to pay points or a loan origination fee. Lof is completely negotiable.

To the OP, don’t pay loan discount points. Find a rate without them.

Your appraisal fee is about $400 too high.

Your points and origination fees on this quote are about as high as I’ve ever seen. This lender is trying to take you out behind the wood shed.
