I love hunting from pop up blinds. Best advice I have is to get some good quality stakes. I've neglected to do so in the past a few times and I've found my blind about 50 yards from where it was supposed to be. Luckily they always seem to blow right into a mesquite tree and latch on.

I'm in one right nIt's not my preferred way but when its raining its nice. I brush them when I first set up but leave out all year.

Black out and you’ll be fine. Just keep the windows behind you closed and whatever you prefer open in the front. We ran pop up blinds in west central Texas for years but even double bulls were only lasting a sseason at best due to the critters. They love chewing on the material

Scent wise I like to be up but hunting from the ground is hella-lotta fun. I wear black inside and keep as few windows open as possible. Close up kills are a blast.
