    I can feel that from here. Almost stand and fill for me. I keep them shorter and stand on atv/tractor to fill.

                          I did that with my boat winch but it cracked me in the wrist... instant goose egg and I thought I broke it. I couldn't close my hand for an hour SO I feel your pain.
