You have to admit the regs posted seem to contradict this and that another GW may interpret them differently.

That is why a statewide memo was sent to game wardens so that everyone was on the same page. I am not posting an internal memo if you don’t believe it then oh well there always one who wants to argue with the game warden.

I've hunted hogs in Texas as a NR for nearly 20 years. Every ranch/hunt I've been on has told me I need a license. Which, if I'm hunting, why wouldn't I need a license?

This is false they must go through a permit process before shooting and have to donate the meet.

A GW once told me that if you shoot pigs & leave them lay, then no license, but if you take them, then license required. Also said if spotlight hunting, a courtesy call to the local GW was appreciated.
