If that was the case I wouldn’t have started this thread. The cards are not in my owners Manual like I stated in my original post.

I can unplug the keypad if I take the door panel off. I might go this right. Then if the jimmy the door again the alarm will go off at the least.

I don’t think it’s just me. I think it’s common for everyone that lives/works in the Houston area.

I hope I'm misunderstanding all this. I know that you can add codes, but if my entry code is the original factory code, it can never be overridden or disabled unless you pay $500ish for a new BCM? That's ludicrous.

                That’s what I’m being told.

If you are wanting to try the $139 option, I have found a way to retrieve the factory code without dealer assistance. Just so you could verify that it didn't work and not pay them.

Going to test this operation now.

The video above explains how to retrieve it. Both key fobs in the key fob holder. Is that what you are trying?

Yes. I've done research all morning and I have not come across anything about resetting the factory code.

Sure wish they would change it or send the owner the code via email or anything besides leaving it in the owners manual.

As a person who has only owned fords that list is plenty long brother.

I believe you can ADD an additional code but the factory code can’t be deleted or changed unless you buy a new BCM, is the way it has been explained to me by many people who would know a trick if there was one.
