Good luck on the recovery Dale. It just rained enough today that I won't be able to hog hunt on my liberty county lease for a week. Really needed to check cameras and fill feeders this weekend.

That was a copy and paste from a text. The hog is either dead or gone and the neighbors shot him. I'm here by myself and not interested in meeting the neighbors in the dark. I don't care much about the hog except gettin him off dads feeder, and he may win the hog pot. Either way I'm wore out and he ain't worth the 40 bucks right now. I'll go have a look tomorrow. Looks like it rained a bunch here today and I should be able to find his track pretty easy.

Here. I went through a rough divorce back in Jan 07. My life was heading down the wrong path and I had a friend of mine take me to Sportsman's Warehouse that Spring to get me into bow hunting. I bought a PSE Mossy Oak X and started shooting. Of course he helped me set it up, I didn't have a clue about archery. He told me that when your mind is clouded with thoughts, you can never hit your mark with an arrow. Life is like that.
Since then I've gotten re-married to a wonderful woman and have a 4 month old son, Liam. I can't wait to teach him all of the journeys in such a short amount of time that archery has taught me. Stay focused. Aim small. And establish a solid anchor point.

So excited to break out the shotgun today. Rained out yesterday for the south zone opener, but the weather is pretty awesome today with a high of 84. Bacon wraps will happen tonight!

It was a bit slow, but J-Bone's girlfriend shot her first dove ever...GREAT DAY!!! We'll be back out there in the morning to see how they are flying. To me....doesn't matter how many are bagged....just being out there is all I need!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had our baby on Wednesday 4:29pm. There were complications during birth but the Dr.s here work miracles. He is now off his iv, antibiotics( precautionary), and oxygen ( also precautionary). He's a happy baby now. We love him to death and all the nurses do to. He's a flirt!Comment

Cleared off real nice here Saturday and my pond was almost full Saturday morning from all the rain, hope it stays that way. I did learn that a busted hold down strap on a golf cart speed control can create a bit of a stopping problem.
