I found out this am driving to work what happens when a 2001 Dodge RAM starts At a green light and the 2001 Toyota Camry in front does not and you hit the back at under 5 mph. The back of the Camry was crushed, driver was not hurt. My Texas star given me years ago and epoxied on my front bumper flew off into her trunk. That was the damage to my truck.

She gave me my Texas star back.

Sorry to hear about your accident Bill, hope it ain't too rough on your insurance.

That boy is coming along real good Dale, gonna be cool sitting on a horse with his John Wayne hat on. Our little Parker is crawling forward now and sitting up really good. Won't be long and we will be having to put stuff up higher around the house. Fun times for sure.

Like I said a few weeks ago, we officially "broke wall" and began to remodel our guest bathroom, which was unusable, disgusting, and very just, yuck.

We had an overall goal to change the layout of the bathroom slighty, reverse the opening of the door (since it opened the wrong was to being with), put in a tub/shower, new toilet, tear out the ridculous cabinet/hall closet storage they had in the bathroom and replace it with custom cabinets and all new tile, sheetrock and insulation, since it was beyond repair...

So here is the wonderful before. I realize the lighting does no justice, just notice water damage, random half wall, non-secured pedistal sink, (and I know you can see it but about 1/16" of calcium/lime/hardwater buildup that would couldn't scrape off with a razor blade.

Our house was VERY filthy when we bought it, I like to think that caused us to get a great deal on it, but we ended up with a jewel that just needed some elbow grease. For example, yes that circle on the wall was from where a mirror was hung and they didn't take it down to paint. It wasn't a permanent mirror, either. It was like a picture on a wall.
But that is another story...let the demo commence!

This is the first "after" picture that we have, tile and new bathtub/shower are in, along with fresh sheetrock and new insulation. New toilet (which was my husbands favorite, apparently they make toilets now that will flush golf balls and when you go to the right place they will show you.)

And just for the record, hubster and I are DIY'ers but we tend to pick and choose our battles. This was a battle that we didn't want to choose. So we left it in the great hands of our BIL that is a master plumber/contractor/perfectionist. He has done a wonderful job and we are so happy with it.

Custom cabinets are next and will begin next week!

            Welcome to "that crap"

We have redone every room in our house except for our bathroom. The guest bathroom was a total overhaul like yours. Looks awesome now and now we are building on a nursery. I will post pics of it when complete. Going to look awesome for a little girl.

Yes, so far we have done every room in the house except the master bathroom.
Can't wait to see the baby room! (not mine, yours!)

                  Updated Pic

Scrolling through this thing and seeing pics of Brady, I thought I could throw and updated pic of my clan on the Green Screen.

This is what CHAOS looks like all cleaned up... As you can tell the little knucklehead on the right, Caden, causes his Mommy and I a bunch of grief!!!

We used this as our Christmas Card this past year...

Nice redo Hilly, gonna be awesome once it is completed.

Great looking family Matt. I can see some Tuthdoc in Caden, his eyes caught my attention.

Funny you should mention that. Jen swears that some of John jumped into Caden when John passed. They are alot alike. Caden is our crazy one, dances, sings, flirts with the girls, etc. He also got John's stubborness, if Caden makes 18 it was because God and his Paw-Paw were looking out for him!!!

Hopefully, as long as baseball does not get in the way, I will have them at Bownanza, that will be a trip!!!

Just got back from the Texas Football recruiting round up at Joe T's with Texas WR Coach Wyatt and now time to sneak in some work and clean the house. I have some folks coming into town and then there is the free Paul Wall concert at the Aardvark tonight, so it is going to be a fun one.

                            Team Carnathan at Nanza?

                            Man I hope that happens!

My niece flies into town tonight.

I'm not sure what we are going to do. Hopefully just reconnect a lot. We have not had much time together in a while now.

Friday morning, drinking coffee, and it's still raining. Started coming down here around 2am and at about 6" now. My front yard is now Lake Tarkington and my back yard is Lake Prairie. Thank goodness we have good runoff around here.

Y'all be safe out there and have a great day!
