Kendra, Blake and Cory and I took off today to try ice fishing for the first time. I did drop about $250 on the basic gear to get us set up (hand auger, sled and some small poles).

Had a great time and caught a nice 3lb rainbow that is now in the freezer!

Well have had some fun these last several days. Been off work since 10 a.m. Wednesday. Spent a couple of days in Addison wife had training classes so I spent Thursday morning @ Cabela's, then went over and spent the afternoon at Cinammon Creek Ranch shooting @ their indoor facility. Friday rolled around and went to Tyler, Friday evening had dinner w/ a buddy of mine & has wife I haven't seen in 25 yrs. Saturday spent the day visiting w/ one of my sisters, & brother-in-law, neices & nephews. Got back home Saturday evening rested & shot in my 1st 3D Sunday morning. Had a blast met some new people, and shot a 242. I guess that's not to bad for my first time. Yall have a good one, & God Bless.

Was a good weekend, finally got around to taking care of the last building standing that was damaged from Ike. Threw away what wouldn't burn and loaded the metal up for a run to the junk yard, then lit a match and watched her go to the ground. Hard to believe we had it for 18 years. Glad it is gone and the mess is cleaned up. Now if I can just get the rest of it done before I die.
