It has been an interesting week! At yesterday evening's hunt, I was in charge of mine and Keven's camera in a blind all by myself. Keven's camera makes mine look like a little toy.
We haven't had time to review the footage, but I'm thankful I had mine on as back up, cuz that big piece of equipment is just a tad () out of my level of knowledge.
After the hunt and eating, we started the work in the deer pens. I got to see what J-Bone does on occasion when he is over here helping. It can get intense! I was up at 4:15 on Wednesday morning and didn't get in bed until 5:30 this morning. I ditched Keven on this morning's hunt. He had to film alone...even though I will continue to claim to be 28...my body has a VERY difficult time keeping that lie and requires daily sleep!
The funniest part of that (to me) is that is the first time, IN A LONG TIME, I have stayed up all night long and there was not any adult beverages involved!
Mine aren't really burned.....just a little tanned maybe. Happens every time when I havn't done any weldin in a while. Plus I have to wear glasses to weld now, so that probly doesn't help.
OK...so my high school shop/ag teacher wasn't just telling us this to make us try it!
Evening from the piney woods in Polk county. Looking at the Green Screen and listening to the game on 92.3 Livingston. Coldspring is winning over Colombus at half time.
Happy Saturday! Here I am stuck at work while my Dad is out at the lease. Oh well, gotta make the money while you can! At least I can kill time on the Green Screen!
maybe one of the worst weekends i have ever had with my 4 decades on this planet. Spent the weekend wearing out a trail between the bed and toilet.
I have been blessed with pretty darn good health & have never had a surgery, broken a bone or caught any other major cootie so really not a fair complaint. Heck, I even manage to avoid stuff like the flu to once every 3-4 years. Closest call was almost having to take out an appendix.
although i have no idea what it was, there is no reason to go into every detail as i'm certain everyone is familiar with the various stomach ill's and food poisoning symptoms. I guess the weirdest part for me is why my brain decides to spit out constant nightmares whenever i get fevers. It will also be nice to gain faith in passing gas once agian
I have had two small cups of chicken broth & a piece of bread in the past 48 hours and lost almost 10lbs. I just announced this to my wife and she is now on the fence about catching my bug. (this coffee is really good this a.m. but making me nervous)
anyway, really sharing all this gross stuff so i can admit what a complete and total wimp i really am...i spent a lot of the weekend thinking of chew and simply admire how stoic he has been w/ his associated tummy problems. I am not pleasant to be around and prefer to be left alone when feeling poor. I pray <>< that i never have any extended illness with my time left here but doubt i would come anywhere close to manning up in the tough dept like bobby.
Hats off to chew & all the other members going through the various health fights.
