Made a textbook shot on an axis buck this morning. Stuck the arrow right behind the shoulder.
We looked for 2 hours, no blood, no arrow and no axis found.
Makes me sick to my stomach.

Sorry to hear this Hillary. It hurts but if you do this long enough it is going to happen.

I thought I smoked a buck during the first week of the season. Looked for hours and never found a drop of blood other than what was on my arrow. He showed up on our trailcam 2 weeks later. Sometimes you just never know. Shake it off and get back out there.
