I was looking for the bottom part of the disc cooker. Like the one at Wilson's house we used before the Opener. Ben and I have our disc already.

If you were a guessing man, how much would you guess you have tied up in one of those? I can't weld, but TD's brother Mark is pretty handy, and I have been wanting one of those forever.

Search the DIY forum for "Disc Cooker Hootus: The Wilson model". My base is a pos that's 20 years old. Wilson built the custom one, I havn't gotten around to it yet.

Well we get the disc for about 35$, and I weld about about a 6$ piece of metal around the edge for the lip. Then you just need a horseshoe or two, which anyone with horses will give you....

Well I finaly settled on simple and functional for the handles on Trey's disc.

Just 1/8"X1" welded to the disc. I welded a piece of 1/2" rod in between the ends of the 1/8"X1", with a piece of 3/4" aluminum tube over it to keep the handle cool.

Just add cabbage!
