Morning all! Installing plugs, switches, lights and fans today. Hopefully I want get lit up 2 Saturdays in a row!

I finally got the yard mowed this afternoon. It was looking BAD.

I shot out to 50 today and was pleased and surprised with my groupings. I feel more confident and better prepared for the season than I have been in several years. Michaela is doing great with her Razor Edge, and Sam (Triple Edge) sent Jeanette's out on Friday...should be here Monday.

My son helped and got most of the plugs in, I wired in some switches so we could turn a light or 2 on. The cabinet guys finished and cleaned up their mess and left. I'll take some pics tomorrow before we make another mess.
Went to my Uncle's place in Huntsville this afternoon for my daughters wedding shower. They took care of the shower while we built 4 freezers of homeade ice cream, 2 vanilla, 1 peach, and 1 dreamsicle. All good! I dropped off my son at a little place around Willis on the way home. Anybody know where these pics were taken?

I've seen redneck but these 3 trailers take the cake! Foxworthy would be proud I tell you!

Sittin in a deer stand videoing a high 170 to low 180 class deer! I've made a couple of sits trying to find this dude and I finally caught up to him. Oh yeah, he's only about 4 years old!

Two coyotes came out and ran all of the deer off. First one died but unfortunatly, the second one was able to run across the road faster than I could reload.

Work again to day. Yesterday was our busiest day yet..Sold and set up several, plus repairs.

Made it to the lease Friday in time to sight in the new rifle, only took 3 shots thank goodness.......she bucks a little. Got in the blind and managed to roll up 2 hogs before dark......should have got at least 3. There were no pot winners in the crowd un-fortunately. I think I need some lighter bullets, the 265gr ones didn't expand much. Maybe I'll get a box of 240gr soft points. Cameras didn't show as much deer activity as I'd liked, but I've learned better than to trust those stupid cameras too much. Partied with school teachers sat night and made it to the White Elephant yesterday afternoon for some quality live tunes.....

Gotta work on front flower bed all week to get ready for shrubs/flowers this weekend....

G3 is struggling this morning out here in the fringe area but it beats nothing. Shot the old Outback after an extended layoff and was very rusty in form and concentration. It'll all come together in time to hunt if this heat will subside a little. I don't sit in blinds when the temperature is 100+.

Just completed my first solo flight. Not having my 190 pound instructor in the seat next to me sure made everything feel a whole lot different!

Just checking in. Had a pretty productive weekend. Got the fence built, feeders filled, pen around my protein feeder finished....all in 103-104 degree heat. Man, I am bushed (and sunburnt). Oh well, that's what it all about.
