      Good Morning folks.

Coming up 59 this morning was a kind of cool sunrise.... a big ball of orange thru the smog, LOL.

Bowstands continue...........Brother in law got serious and brought his chop saw and table saw for last nights session.

I'll trade you! Sitting here unemployed isn't as fun as some make it look.
Your young enough to make a job change and still have a long career my friend. Stay where you are though until you find that job.

My parents volunteered to pay for our front flowerbed for a housewarming type present, minus the rock and edging type stuff. We finaly got around to it this past weekend.

The sandy fill dirt they put around the house has a concrete like layer on top after several rains, so Tues night I warmed up the tractor and busted up that top layer.

Since I can't find the parts to fix the roto-tiller for the tractor, and dad can't remember who he loaned the walk-behind to, I was reduced to this.......which really surprised me!

Had to build a "Bridge" to keep from rutting the grass, cracking the sidewalk, or crushing the metal edging, or sinking in the mud (got an inch of rain Thurs night).

I didn't know we were doing this bed until the day before, so I had to throw together a border right quick. I'll do it RIGHT next spring.

                            Bringin' her to the top!

Being a home-buying rookie, I did not appreciate how fast the little fees add up, along the way...It seems like there is always something else that needs to be paid for or taken care of, before I can even sit down with the seller and write the closing check.

I am excited about the new home, but am more excited about signing the paper and being done with this process!

On a similar note, anyone in the North Houston area need any odd jobs done, or an extra set of hands for a couple weeks?! ;-) Just kidding...but seriously.
