Fun at the Hilton this weekend.

RWC, jakeb03, Breck, and Robbie came down from Crawford to join us. Benben, hrdwrkcwby and Julie, and sunsethunter from FW also shared the campfire. Syl, with help from Richard, did us right with venison fajitas, grilled redfish throats, smoked steelhead for eats. No food poon pics.

Got wet and cold hooking up to a trailer today and I am feeling it now, ca t seem to shake the cold off of me.

Finally!! Got my pit completed to where it's usable...hard to believe there was a dead tree in this spot when we moved into this humble abode almost two decades ago.

We've outgrown it but it's home. Got the crushed granite put in right before the rains a couple days ago. Mesquite was wet but nothing a pyro can't get past.

Just gotta clean up the landscape cloth & done!!

Well, Mia's heart is broken in two. Travis, Laura and Blake left today to start their new adventure in Bellingham, Washington. Tears would be an understatement....they have lived with me for the last week while their place was being packed up and I got loads of Blake time. She is the best ever....I swear! Now....my house is complete silence....I hate it. I may need to borrow a kid or two here pretty soon!!!

Blake on her first plane ride (kind of appropriate looking at her leaving...boohoo!!!!)



The face I am so missing already! I see lots of Bellingham weekends in my future!!!

The nephew only lives 3/4 of a mile up a dirt road from me and I feel the same way, little stinker just lights the shack up!

Had a friend over for dinner and she commented on all the pics of Dayton. Told her it was a cheap substitute till he comes visits again!!

Looks like another Cold Case road trip for me and my partner in crime. We are planning a week plus trip to Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida. Gotta go surprise a couple fellers and one lady. Probably go in early March.

Dang Mary. That is hard to read. Are they moving their permanently? =(

Mary, not much of a consolation but at least it's a good jumping off point for your Alaska trips..... not to mention some awesome scenery and places to take her when you go up.
