What can kill Cactus?

    Surmount for prickly pear as per directions. Double it for any other cactus. Yes I've sprayed lots of prickly pear in my life. Spray both sides of the plant for a better kill.

      i have plenty on them on the lease and when I mowed them I thought they would grow back they have not .. Maybe mow and spray std weed killer ( ie salt)

          Our Shackelford co place is a blanket of prickly pear in some places.
          We just mow big areas with the tractor shredder, then come back over it with the disc plow. Works well enough and really cleans up hunting areas nicely.

          If you just shred it, it will come back though.

          Tordon kills it, but it takes a while for it to completely die, and turn back to grass. Expensive too.
