      Your guess is better than mine. I don’t think my buddy does much trolling. He’s usually throwing spinners when I go with him. They’ll catch more than a fella wants to clean, that’s for sure!

      He also said something about not liking to fish too deep this time of year because you pretty much have to keep what you catch since they die on the way up.

          Brandon do you ever get to fish Travis? I've lived/ fished on Travis for the past 25 years, and really been noticing the stripers the last 5 years. Just curious if the technique changes with the deeper water relative to Buchanan.

              Topwater bite is over up here at PK and they have moved off of the humps that we kill them on in the earlier parts of summer, but they are still hitting the 8" flutter spoons well if you can find them in the deeper parts of the lake

                Ive only fished Travis a couple of time. I would think you could run your weights deeper. The key is find the thermocline and stay above it. On Buch that is typically around 30-35ft.
