Slayer was one of the first concerts I ever attended and still one of the best and I have seen many many hard rock/Metal bands since then. Bio-hazard and Machine Head opened up for them. When Slayer came on it was at a whole different level of volume. The bass drum hit so hard I thought someone had punched me in the chest. This was the early 90's, don't think I will make it to their farewell tour.
There’s several things I don’t agree on with ol Billy but I do agree with him on the best college football team in the state and what good rock music is.

I’m a big Metallica fan and that last sentence is one thing they have down to a freakin science. You can literally be surfing the radio stations and automatically know when they are playing.
Not as big of a fan of Slayer but do give them a listen every once in awhile.
