Agreed. That zebra is super cool. The axis on the other hand looks somewhat terrible. They could have done a much better job blending the hide to the board.

Although the mount itself isn't representative of a axis body, I think it's pretty cool. Fix the neck and use the correct form and I'd love it. Very creative and thinking outside the box.
