I would guess dead buck. Might be 500 yards from shot but he is more then likely dead. Good luck

Not sure of the next photo frame but from the angle of the arrow and positioning of his body its tough to tell if it indeed connected with vitals. Just my opinion but he could be laid up somewhere, stranger things have happened and even for me.

Update. First thing this morning we found a lot of blood right where he was standing after the shot. Blood was everywhere in big puddles in two roes, then nothing. We grid searched for awhile with no luck. Blood tracker on here is coming with his dog and should be here around noon. We will see. Not looking good.
