Never heard of this so I looked it up. I'm not so sure about that!

Until you try it, don’t even try to knock it!!! Once you’ve gotten your fill with parisa and saltine crackers, make patties with the rest and smoke em on a grill for parisa burgers! Just be careful, if you were to put any on top of your head, your tongue would beat your brains out trying g to get to it!

Rarely stay at a camp. 27 years of leasing in Texas, stay at friends houses when at the lease. Usually take things like home made Lasagna, various stews, sometimes take big pot and cook up 10 gallons or so of Brunswick stew which we freeze the leftover for future meals. Few pots of chili are always a hit as well. Other times what ever we are eating at the house.

Hard to beat a ribeye over mesquite coals. One of my favorites is Creek taters. Cube some red potatoes, sweet onions, and mushrooms in heavy foil. Add butter, your favorite seasoning (Cavenders, Blake's Ragin Blaze, etc.) Add a little soy sauce to steam them. Wrap them tight and cook over the coals for about 45 minutes. Mmmmm! Take it to another level by adding some smoked sausage to make an entire meal in a pouch. Or better yet, batter and brown some tenderized backstrap, then add it to the taters and onions before you cook them.

Stuff with ground meat of your choice, potatoes, onions, peppers, and whatever seasoning you want. Wrap it all up tightly and cook in the coals of your camp fire. Enjoy!

These types are always great. And some of these meals turn out to be great at the fire station too
