    Favorite Deer Camp Meals

Wanting to know what you favorite deer camp meals are.

My favorite night meal is thick porkchop just salt and heavy pepper over oak wood fire with Margaret Holmes Seasoned Italian green beans and Ranch Style beans with jalapeños heated up in the can on the fire. For desert Brookshire's pumpkin pie with all the Redi Wip it will hold.

I'm a fan of some fajitas made over the fire with some Blue Bell to wash it down. Prettt much the same as at home!

If I'm by myself, wolf brand chili warmed in the microwave with corn chips. If the family is with me then it's something on the grill. Fajitas most times.

My top 5 deer camp/deer lease meals are:

              Crawfish Etouffee

              Hondo Burgers

              Nasty fried tacos

              Bacon Wrapped stuffed meats

Cajun Blake's Blackened Catfish with Crawfish Cream Sauce

I only make the last 2 of these...the first 3 are nostalgic meals I've had on previous leases

I have plenty of favorites...most of ones have already been mentioned. But if it’s cold outside, I do like a good King Ranch Chicken casserole.

Full pound of meat for each "burger". Divide in half (2 half pound patties) and between them add cheese, peppers, onions, and any other fixins you want. Press the edges so that its sealed. Dress with spices and/or sauce. Grill low and slow until inner fixins are done

I don't make em but from what I remember...

Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning. Heat up a pan of oil and dip corn tortillas in oil to soften. Add sliced American cheese in the tortilla, fold in half and fry until cheese is melted. Pull from oil and fill with taco meat, and other taco fixins. They are a heart attack on a plate but you cant stop eating them
