Martin Bow exploded...what would you do?

Been through this twice now with my son's bow. First bow I bought him was the Martin Cheetah. When the limbs showed signs of splitting I called Martin and they didn't have limbs for it either. I persisted and they agreed to sell me their flagship top of the line bow at the time, the Alien at cost. This amounted to their retail price for the Alien minus my original cost for the Cheetah so I was satisfied that they did right by replacing the value of the bow I had. Now the limbs on the Alien are splitting and the bow hasn't had 200 shots through it. Called them up they know they have a poorly designed limb and no replacements available for this 2016 bow. Sorry, but their fire excuse doesn't hold water this time. You would think something could be done and your right they sent a USED set of limbs in CAMO for a carbon fiber finished bow. They said it was the only set they could find. Finally, a new lady entered the picture and said the one we were dealing with is no longer there. Still they do not have any limbs but she took a set off an employee's bow painted them black and sent them to us. She also admitted that they will fail and fail soon because either the design, or manufacturer is poor. Supposedly, when these fail and hopefully without injury we can send the bow back for a full replacement. What a PIA **** poor company to deal with. Never buy Martin products they are of poor quality and the company is not owned or ran by anyone with their name on the bow. They don't give a S... about customer service or reputation. I haven't seen a Martin dealer anywhere to complain. Not even Bass Pro or Cabela's.Last edited by Mesquite Archer; 10-05-2017, 07:30 PM.

So, I called Martin on Monday and told them what happened. The lady said their warehouse burned down in 2015 and since the bow was older than that they don't have any parts for it. She said all they would do is offer me about 25% off a new bow purchase. I told her that's not right.... I bought a bow with a lifetime warranty on the part that exploded and I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket to get a functioning bow. She said someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss but they won't do anything but discount a new bow. I asked her if she thought that was a good way to handle customer service and she said no but "it is what it is". They never even called me back. Call back and stand my ground or throw this Martin Bow in a dumpster and move on?
"Heather Waddell More than likely that is a 2004 model. We wouldn't have parts. We had a fire in 2015 that destroyed our machine shop. And unfortunately if in fact this bow is a 2004 it is out of warranty. I will gladly help you get into a 2017 model that is heavily discounted since you've been a loyal Martin customer. Just call 509-529-2554 and ask for Heather."

It means we will replace with same or equal value at no charge ( I would pay shipping)
If you are not going to stand behind something then you don't need to imply you will. Plain and simple.
That is my opinion

After dealing with Martin's customer service regarding limb issues myself before, I suggest you move on with your life and never buy one of their bows again.
If you want to shoot the bow, I'd see if barnsdale has the limbs you need and fix it yourself (or have a tech do it if that isn't your thing). My $.02, I wouldn't trade in and buy another bow from them due to the lousy service and the history of issues (particularly limbs) that they have.
I enjoyed my Martin while it lasted, but after dealing with months of issues that never fully got resolved I put it away and ordered a PSE Beast. I've never regretted that for a second and later bought a second PSE (Phenom DC) for hunting. They've been bulletproof and trouble-free.
