That's a shame. I and my son shot Martin for years as they were affordable and the customer service was top notch. When they sold I switched. I would look on AT for another limb if money is tight. If not, go another direction.

I bought a bow with a lifetime warranty on the part that exploded and I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket to get a functioning bow. She said someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss but they won't do anything but discount a new bow. I asked her if she thought that was a good way to handle customer service and she said no but "it is what it is". They never even called me back. Call back and stand my ground or throw this Martin Bow in a dumpster and move on?
i was a martin dealer, you don't have much to gain by standing your ground, the warehouse did burn down and the company is owned by new people, and there are no limbs from the older bows left,,, time to move on

Look on archerytalk and see if anybody has any limbs, lot of dealers across the country on there or somebody might know where some are.

Got $1475 I can borrow? You still owe me $0.35 and some pocket lint.

Tell them they can send a replacement bow and honor the warranty or you'll continue to voice your displeasures to thousands in the hunting community.

This is a good idea, or see if you can find the same bow for sale used??

Hard to "stand your ground" when they just won't do anything about it. Sounds like they are doomed as a company.

Sadly, ive run into this type of warranty service with a couple companies the last few years. Biggest surprise was Benelli/Beretta.

That'd burn me pretty good. I'd proceed with a different manufacturer all together, but sidebar keep pursuing customer satisfaction from them. Warranty doesn't die with ownership, it dies with the BRAND. The brand is what the owners will back so push that angle on your spare time. Good luck. Martin is supposed to be one of the best in the biz. Make them prove it.

Martin = POS (applies to products, customer service and owners)

Start thread on AT, maybe you could get a class action going, bet that would get their attention

                          Glad your kid wasn't hurt

If he really likes the bow, send it to Dave Barnsdale for new limbs. Best limbs in the business.

If it doesn't mean that much, leave a bad review and move on. Beating a dead horse never got anyone a new horse.

They're offering you a discount roughly the value of the blown up bow. Think of it as a trade in and move on.
