Breakfast Taco vs. Breakfast Burrito

Burrito is a meal in one and is completely wrapped 360 by tortilla.
Tacos are rolled or folded but not 360 and you need multiple to make a meal unless in the RGV, I have seen taquitos down there that you could barely get through just one.

never seen a breakfast taco in my life, but I have seen plenty of breakfast burritos

folded is a taco

I personally have never seen a breakfast taco but that doesn't mean they don't exist

On a side note, if you happen to be a virgin and you would like to be screwed for cheap, go to Taco Cabana and order a breakfast taco or breakfast burrito. Brace yourself.

Growing up in the RGV, they are tacos. A burrito is a fried tortilla wrapped thing that you get at Stripes (also a great place for breakfast tacos). Here in DFW, I've heard breakfast tacos erroneously called burritos.

If the tortilla is left open they are tacos. If the tortilla is wrapped up closed it's a burrito. Now I'm hungry.

Don't know what part of DFW you're in but in Fort Worth it's tacos. Maybe if you're in a north Dallas burb you got one of those CA transplants

Around here in League City/Galveston area Taco and Burrito refer to the size.

Want a small one, order a Breakfast Taco. Want a big one, order a Breakfast Burrito.

It is not limited to geography, it's universal.

If the contents are rolled into a tortilla, it is a burrito. If the contents are placed into a folded tortilla, it is a taco.
