                Over the counter elk, bear
                Gas to get there, new tent and back pack
                Rent for a horse to bring them down
                Hotel to get good and clean before the long drive back
                Maybe some taxi work, if not needed, deposit 3000 in savings account

                    I think a guided bear/elk/mule deer hunt can be done for around that. A lot depends on circumstance though and what kind of hunt you want to do. That is where I would look if I was looking for a hunt around 4500.

                              No worries! You said 4500 won't get you "much" and others say it will get you to Africa. I personally would take Africa over Tx for 4500 thats mine for the OP.
