    New kuiu rifle??

Who's seen anything on it and what do you think. Kuiu is partnering with Remington to make the "ultimate sheep rifle". Supposedly it's super lightweight and chambered in 6.5 creedmore

I haven't read anything recently. I just know that Kuiu, Remington, and Leupold all partnered up for it.

Yea we discussed this in Other side of the ranch a while back. Leupold is also In the deal. Still don't know specifics.

I want to say I saw yesterday that it'll have a carbon barrel. Pretty anxious to see what it's priced at

$5895 MSRP. If I'm spending 5 grand on a rifle, I'm calling Alamo precision or hill country rifles. Looks awesome though

Dang! There's not a rifle I would ever pay that much money to hunt animals with.

I'm all for the kuiu clothing and love it but I might have to draw the line at $5900

At that price point you could have a pretty nice full custom build that would more than likely perform better...

                        All the details here

No way I am spending that kind of money on a factory built rifle. And I love my timney 510 in my .308 but you would think a $5900 rifle would have more than a $115 trigger

You don't have the same voice in picking the specific parts, etc. But those rifles are no doubt built one at a time by very talented folks in the Remington custom shop.

I am a fan of Defiance actions so this would be a nogo for me as well. However, looking over the specs that price is not way out of line, I expect you would be in that ballpark for the same build from GAP, APR, etc.

Now - admitting you paid 6k for a Remington rifle around the campfire may net some laughs. Sweet looking rifle and I am sure it shoots like a full custom.

It is a full custom with Ti action, Timney, manners, proof barrel, customized Bolt, etc.

As far as perform better comment that's to be seen, but I bet they shoot as good or better then most 6.5lb rifles on mark, mass or custom.

Now I do think they are little high since CT edge is 3900 and APR being probably priced pretty similar or touch higher then Feirce. Closet comparison would be Horizon Endeavor HZ and it runs 4999
