Probably because most of the traffic on here is men so folks just assume that it is the wife or girlfriend in the profile as there are several dudes on here with their significant other as the pic instead of themselves. We are simple creatures as men so please forgive us for not over thinking it or not really caring and just assuming everybody on here is a dude.
