In America, you are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. To not allow constitutional carry, is to judge you guilty without you having committed a crime.

I think some folks don't want it simply because they want to feel " special " with that little card. I was carrying daily before anyone ever heard of a LTC in Texas. Never killed anybody.

ts a terrible bill. it makes people behind on child support and anyone with a minor criminal infraction ineligible.

thats a slippery slope to connect those things with the right to bear.

You can't even get a hunting license in Texas if you're behind on child support so what's your point?

Something to think about before letting your LTC expire because you won't need it in Texas anymore..if you carry your gun in other states that have reciprocity agreements with Texas you will need your papers in order.

Still has to pass the Senate and the Governor will have to sign it, then it will become legal most likely next Sept 1 or Jan 1, depending on how it is written.
