My CHL instructor was very informative. It's not all just about the X's and O's of the laws.
I'm fine with keeping it a requirement to take a class to obtain a carry permit/license. I don't see it as much different than needing a license to drive a car. One should at least be able to meet a certain minimum education/proficiency before going out in public.
What you do on your property or in your house is your thing; but once you walk out in public, the general population can be affected by your actions.

Right! Because criminals always have proper training before they use their knife or gun to assault innocents. SMH!
"Shall not be infringed" includes a government mandated training class. https://www.google.com/search?q=12+y...hrome&ie=UTF-8
I wonder how many of these kids had "proper training" according to the government?

How many times have you heard someone say you can shoot trespassers? I know I've heard it a bunch. Or "drag them in the house if they die in the yard"?
There is a lot of false info out there when it comes to deadly force use.
I know I want to be 100% positive of the legality of it if I ever have to use my gun.

Training has never hurt anyone.
We're talking about people that aren't familiar with firearms before going out Rambo style in the general public. Since your posting links how about this one.
